State Concert Festival

Greeneville High School

April 8 or 9, 2010

Each year, we have the opportunity to perform on stage & get adjudicated by well-known judges from around the southeastern United States. We have the opportunity to perform at lower area, middle area or upper area regions within East Tennessee. We will be traveling to Greeneville High School on April 8 or 9, 2010. This concert competition is very prestigious & difficult. Last year, the HHS Wind Ensemble received a superior rating & the Concert Band received an excellent rating. To give you an overall perspective, it is very difficult to receive a superior rating; in fact, the music must be performed almost perfectly. We hope each student will work very hard this semester & that each group will do the very best job they can.

We will be performing during the daytime; therefore, the students will miss one day of school. An itinerary will be given to the students, as we get closer to the performance date.
